Today we present a project of our partners from Rosenberg Germany, who have succeeded in installing insect-proof air curtains at the industrial entrances of an internationally operating tyre factory. In this project, two air curtains have been installed to cover the entire access to the logistics area.

The Fly KL air curtain is designed and manufactured by Airtècnics after numerous studies and tests. It has been developed according to the technical requirements that prevent the access of insects to the interior. According to NSF-37-2012 standard, the maximum installation height is the velocity profile point at 8,14 m/s plus 0,9 m. FLY KL can therefore be used up to 2.15 m+0.9 m=3.05 m.

Accesses up to three metres high are secured against insects thanks to the invisible curtain effect created by the air curtain, which facilitates and speeds up work with vehicles and heavy loads, creating safer conditions for workers and healthier conditions for production.

The anti-insect air curtain range does not have any type of heating, they are air only. It includes by default the Hand Auto Plug and Play power regulator, with 10 metres of RJ45 cable and a magnetic contact to automate the operation with the door. Other control systems, such as Clever, are available on request.

Fly KL is a robust and versatile anti-insect air curtain with a jet extender kit to optimize airflow with minimum turbulence at maximum speed. In addition, its suction grille is faceted and has a large surface area so that the unit is not maintenance intensive.
