Rosenberg has supplied an Airbox air handling unit with an airflow capacity of 21,000 m³/h for installation in the industrial kitchen area of a major catering service provider in Germany. This project exemplifies the integration of advanced ventilation technology in demanding environments such as large-scale professional kitchens.
The unit was designed in strict accordance with VDI 2052 and VDI 6022 standards, specific to industrial kitchen installations and air hygiene. Thanks to its modular configuration, the unit includes a multi-stage filtration system and a high-efficiency heat recovery system. This system enables the energy-efficient reuse of waste heat — typically considered a by-product — generated in kitchen operations, leading to a substantial reduction in the facility's overall energy consumption.
Rosenberg’s Airbox units stand out for their flexibility and customisability. Each module is designed to meet the technical and operational requirements of the project, allowing for fully tailored solutions in both high-tech environments and conventional building services. This modularity facilitates integration into any type of infrastructure, optimising space, energy efficiency, and maintenance.
Airbox units are available in weatherproof, explosion-proof (ATEX), TÜV-certified hygienic versions, and high-corrosion-resistant finishes, making them suitable for the most demanding operating conditions.
All equipment complies with the energy efficiency requirements of EN 1253/2014 (Ecodesign) and is engineered for durability, easy maintenance, and the highest construction quality. The result is a robust, reliable technical solution aligned with current sustainability and energy performance goals.
At Rosenberg and Airtècnics, we remain committed to innovation, quality, and expert technical support to provide high-value HVAC solutions across all sectors.
