Ventilation and disinfection in one
The backward-curved fans incorporate disinfection technology based on a catalyst activated by ultraviolet light that generates advanced oxidation reactions. This process enables the reduction of microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors, improving air quality without emitting harmful agents to living beings.
Unlike other purification systems, photocatalysis operates continuously, silently and without replacement parts, making it an ideal solution for direct integration into ventilation equipment.

Aerodynamic design with backward-curved blades
The RMEC FC series uses a radial impeller with backward-curved blades, optimized to achieve high static pressure levels with reduced energy consumption. This design ensures stable operation even in installations with filters, coils or additional air treatment modules, such as the photocatalysis system itself.
EC motor and intelligent airflow control
Equipped with a high-efficiency EC motor and continuous 0–10 V speed control, the RMAC / RMEC FC fans allow airflow to be adjusted to the system’s actual demand, optimizing energy consumption and ensuring adequate air contact time with the photocatalytic module to maximize disinfection effectiveness.
Compact Plug-Fan module for OEM integration
The Airtècnics Plug-Fan concept enables direct integration of the fan with photocatalysis into air handling units, heat recovery units and customized ventilation equipment. Its robust galvanized steel structure and front mounting panel reduce installation times and simplify OEM equipment design.
