Air curtain control is essential to prevent unnecessary energy usage by modifying the performance of the air curtain according to the situation of each moment.
Airtècnics has developed its own range of controllers to offer large possibilities of performance.
All controls are designed for easy and quick Plug & Play connection, free of mistakes, by using RJ45 or RJ11 cables.
The digital communication between the control panel and air curtain is a very reliable connection with no losses of information even at long distances.
All control panels can be turned ON/OFF externally and have internal memory (if the power supply is cut off, the unit goes back to the selected state).
PRO Controllers
All Airtècnics air curtain models operate with Advanced PRO and Clever PRO controls. They are not compatible with the Minibel, Optima Switch, and Recessed Optima Switch air curtain models, as these have an ON/OFF system with a switch.
Advanced PRO
Semi-automatic control with Plug & Play RJ11 connection and digital inputs. 2.8” backlit LCD screen with touch buttons and IR remote control.
Clever PRO
Smart universal control, available upon specific request, compatible with two- and five-speed air curtains, with or without heating (water, electric, or heat pump).
External sensors and devices help to control and modify the performance of the air curtain to protect the unit and be more efficient in each situation.
For example, if we install a door contact connected to the air curtain, when the door remains closed the air curtain is OFF or working at low ventilation speed and/or lower heating stage, saving energy. When the door is opened, the air curtain will increase the ventilation speed and/or heating stage to protect the doorway.
Another example is connecting the air curtain to a room thermostat. Then the unit will increase/decrease the heating to reach the desired temperature or stop the heating when reached the desired temperature.
