During last year, many shops, institutions and companies have trusted the quality of Airtècnics for the construction and adaptation of their facilities. Airtècnics has put at disposal all the technology and experience to guarantee a perfect performance. Of the many installations that have been completed, these are some of the most relevant.

The new official headquarters of the Futbol Club Barcelona (FCB) has a new air curtain at its access point. It is a custom-made installation with the Barça banner at the door that gives solution to a problem caused by the continuous opening of the automatic door.

Every time the door opened in this more than frequented institution, cold and gusts of wind rushed inside, resulting in visitors and workers discomfort. FCB headquarters is the second most visited exhibition in Catalonia, with 1.5 million of visitors every year. At present, this premise climatisation is more efficient thanks to the ZEN M 2500 E air curtain, for doors from 2 to 2,5 meters wide, intermediate power and electrical heating system.

The Cultural Centre in Barcelona, El Born, put the faith in Airtècnics to solve the problems caused by three already installed air curtains that did not prevent heated or cooled air from escaping through the entrance due to the continuous door opening and closing. This ancient and emblematic iron architecture market of the XIX century, in memory of the siege in Barcelona 1714 and rehabilitated in September 2013, became the most visited exhibition in Catalunya, with 1.894.400 visitors last year.

The three Airtècnics air curtains WINDBOX M 2500 DX 22 are placed inside the area called Espai Moritz. This model is of a superior range for doors between 2-2.5 meters wide with direct expansion heating system. It constitutes the system with greater energy saving on the market.

The emblematic megastore FlagShip Store Telefónica, located at 28 Gran Vía in Madrid, requested Airtècnics to design the installation of five air curtains with advanced invisible mounting, what allows to place them in a false ceiling with two kits, one at the suction and the discharge. The installation consists of four units WINDBOX M 2000 P86 and one M 1500 P86 with water heated coil system.

This innovative space, a reference place in the telecom sector during years, shows the last in mobile technology, connectivity and accessories and it also hosts several events, with more than 7.000 visits a week.

The BBVA innovation Center in Madrid requested the installation of two ZEN G 2000 E air curtains, with electrical heating and high performance.

It consists of a large installation for this BBVA center, a reference in digital transformation with which the financial institution wants to promote interaction among entrepreneurs, startups and developers, and generate a large knowledge network all over the world.

Palacruceros D Terminal in Barcelona Port is a modern installation of 10.000 m2 distributed in two floors with 400.000 passengers per year. Seven air curtains WINDBOX G 2500 A of high performance were placed in all the doors to guarantee the perfect climate control, in a space that hosts commercial zone, VIP rooms and spaces for children, for travellers that arrive mainly in 170 cruises of Carnival group.

The Sanitas CIMA Hospital in Barcelona required the installation of a ZEN 2500 P64 air curtain with water heating coil for its entrances. The air curtain was customised with the Sanitas vinyl logo. The new hospital in Barcelona consists of a 7-floor building and 11.000 m2, as well as a new external consultations center.

The Sant Antoni-Joan Oliver library in Barcelona (located at 44-46 Compte Borrell St.), installed two ZEN 1500 E air curtains with electrical heating. It is a municipal library, inaugurated in 2007 as a cultural and proximity facility for the Eixample district inhabitants and neighbours. It is placed next to Sant Antoni market and bears the name of the writer Joan Oliver, born in Sabadell and also known by the pseudonym Pere-Quart.

Moreover, the air curtain model ROTO M 1500 E for revolving doors and the OPTIMA 2000 E for lateral door are the two most installed models in the building that hosts the McDonalds central offices in la Florida neighborhood in Madrid.

In the MAPFRE Foundation, with its headquarters at 23 Paseo Recoletos in Madrid, Airtècnics installed a WINDBOX M 2000 E air curtain with an invisible inlet and outlet kit.

The NIKE store at Gran Vía in Madrid also trusted our experience for a WINDBOX G 3000 air curtain installation. On this occasion it was necessary the vertical option with feet.

Similarly, the Tous Jewelry placed at Serrano St, in Madrid requested an air curtain system that provided a comfortable atmosphere even when the doors were open. The Airtècnics technical team chose a ZEN 1000 E air curtain with electrical heating as the best solution.

The Gregorio Marañón Hospital in Madrid asked to remove two air curtains that had already installed of another Brand from the entrances and replace them with two Airtècnics systems with the aim to improve the climate control, avoid dust and insects entering this sanitary area and save energy. There were installed two recessed air curtains RM 1500 DX with direct expansion heating system for heating and cooling.
