Airtècnics commitment with the environment

Tuesday 15 July 2025

Airtècnics takes another step forward in its commitment to achieve a sustainable energy supply by installing 242 photovoltaic panels in Plant 2, which are added to the existing installation on the roof of the first warehouse.

More than 800 square metres of solar panels between the two roofs, whose annual production values of 146,153kWh allow a reduction in emissions of 52,615 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The new photovoltaic panels have been installed in order to provide self-sufficiency in the three warehouses. The PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR ENERGY system previously installed is 30kW nominal and is connected to a 35,280 Wp grid for connection to the electricity network.

In this way, Airtècnics generates solar energy that will be used by the whole population, thus contributing to the preservation of the environment. We are a company that is ahead of the future, sensitive to the needs of our time and responsible with the environment.

Our character is also shown in our air curtains, whose installation means energy saving and crystallizes in this great project that will help, at the same time, to fulfil the objectives set in the 2030 plan.

Airtècnics has been able to carry out this project thanks to the incentive program linked to self-consumption and storage with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
