Clever PRO Control

Basic Specifications

The Clever PRO control was created to meet customer needs through multiple operating modes that optimize energy efficiency. It has been 100% designed and programmed by Airtecnics to be compatible with all ranges of air curtains and replaces the previous Clever Kit II.

This control element is not included in the standard equipment of air curtain models and must be ordered separately.

PRO range control:

CLEVER PRO

A single advanced controller with no additional PCBs

Clever Pro replaces, enhances, and simplifies the functionalities of the previous Airtecnics advanced controller range with 2 and 5 speeds (no heating, hot water heating, electric heating, DX heating).

Temperature and door sensors included

Clever Pro integrates an ambient temperature sensor and includes a door sensor.
Together with the setpoint temperature, they form a system that allows ventilation and heating to be regulated while saving energy.

BMS and Modbus control

In Modbus mode, the unit operates solely according to the Modbus commands received from the building’s centralized control system (BMS).
It allows writing and monitoring of the air curtain status, certain parameters, and temperature sensors.
It respects the minimum/maximum parameters (door open/closed) defined in the configuration, as well as the unit’s safety limits.

Semi-Automatic mode

Allows programming of different ventilation speeds and heating stages according to the door status and temperature sensors, automatically adapting to the needs of each moment to achieve optimal efficiency and energy savings.

Automatic mode

Based on temperature sensors and door status, the program automatically regulates ventilation speed and heating, maximizing efficiency, comfort, and energy savings. Available in future updates.

Time scheduler

Clever Pro features a calendar that allows up to 10 different actions to be programmed for each day of the week or for groups of days according to user preferences.
These actions may include: ON, OFF, forcing a specific speed, or switching between day/night setpoint temperatures.

3 menu levels

Quick access user menu: Allows adjustment of ventilation speed and heating stage (depending on door status) and the setpoint temperature.

User menu: In addition to adjusting the parameters of the user menu, it allows modification of other internal parameters such as operating mode, the time scheduler, and the access code, among other settings.

Internal configuration menu: Displays various configurable and adjustable parameters and functionalities depending on the access level. These include input and output functions, different operating limits, controller memory, and display mode.

USB input

Clever Pro integrates a USB adapter to update its firmware version, as well as the PCB version of the air curtains to which it is connected.

Connectivity

Plug & Play connection via RJ11 cable (communication and 24 VDC power supply) for automatic initialization and configuration according to the detected devices.

Modbus RTU (RS485).

Programmable digital inputs (external OFF and heating OFF by default).

USB port for firmware update.

Simple, discreet, and compact

The controller housing is specifically designed to protect the electronics. It includes ventilation slots to ensure optimal temperature for internal components.

The new electronics are designed to be more robust, incorporating electrical and electronic protections, poka-yoke connections, and a protective varnish coating to improve resistance to corrosion and extend service life.

Prepared for wall installation with the mounting bracket included.
