The Airtècnics air curtains of the anti-insect range have become a reference in the food industry facilities, as in the case of the company we show today, where a 3000 mm Fly KL air curtain has been installed to cover a door of the warehouses of this factory.

Fly KL air curtains are positioned as an industrial air curtain in the insect repellent range thanks to the powerful jet that repels the flying insects. The air jet interrupts the path of the insect, preventing it from entering the interior of the installation.

The effectiveness of anti-insect air curtains has been proven by scientific studies, in which it has been empirically demonstrated that the use of high-powered air curtains reduces the presence of insects in protected spaces by 99.9%.

This is an ecological and energy-saving solution thanks to which the use of pesticides or other insect elimination systems that are not permitted because they are harmful to health can be avoided.

Technical features

The Fly KL insect air curtain is characterised by the discharge nozzle which generates a high velocity air barrier and is suitable for doors up to 3 metres high. The suction grille is located on the front face of the air curtain cabinet, its faceted and large-area design helps to avoid intensive maintenance service.

As a complement, the Clever Control system was installed. The intelligent regulation of Airtècnics that allows to connect several ventilation devices in a single control. It automatically adapts the operation of the installed equipment to the conditions of the entrance, adjusting its operation to the state of the door, opening frequency, outside and inside temperatures or the air discharge temperature.
