Temperature loss in cold stores

This chain of supermarkets and fresh food products sales needed a solution in their facilities, as the cold rooms of the plant were suffering an overload of work while the doors were kept open, this was a large part of the day.

Solumat solved their problem by recommending two models of air curtains:

Kool

The Kool cold room air curtain is specifically designed for low temperature operation. The design of the air discharge allows the jet to generate little turbulence at very high velocity. The separation of rooms with a large temperature difference is efficiently accomplished.

Five air curtains of this model were installed and all fulfilled the objective of keeping the temperature stable. Working optimally, the cold is efficiently maintained in the chambers.

Triojet

The Triojet air curtain is a system consisting of two air curtains: the special Duojet air curtain with plenum and the Kool air curtain. The result is a system that produces a combination of 3 jets at different temperatures and different speeds.

Of this model, a single curtain has been installed in a prechamber of 2°C - 5°C for a freezer chamber that reaches -20°C. The curtain is perfectly installed and its operation is optimal.
