New Cyclohnic air purifier by Airtècnics with hydroxyl radicals technology for highly polluted spaces

Monday 07 March 2022

In the line of air purification products, Airtècnics has launched Cyclohnic: a new air purifier, unpublished until now, with active hydroxyl radical technology that cleans and sanitizes large indoor spaces whose contamination is due to large volatile organic particles of animal origin.

How does it work?

The device is a ventilation box with different stages:

  • A cyclonic filter, which collects the larger particles and a G4 filter (according to EN779 standard), which guarantees the durability of the equipment by protecting the components.
  • A reaction box regenerating free hydroxyl radicals by means of a peroxide cartridge that purifies and cleans the air, just as in nature, mineralising the pollutants so that they are not harmful.
  • A patented fan with photocatalytic action, which purifies the air thanks to the combination of an ultraviolet light with a long-lasting LED and a special titanium dioxide coating.

How the Cyclohnic air purifier works

The device is designed to be installed suspended from the ceiling, and its action reaches an area of up to 300m3. In addition, it is made of stainless steel to guarantee its resistance in highly corrosive and polluted environments, such as the spaces for which this new air cleaning device has been conceived.

Cyclohnic is very simple to operate, as it only has a 230 V power socket. There are no buttons or controllers. The low power consumption and noise level of the fan are very low.

*The OH (hydroxyl radicals) technology has been tested in external laboratories and complies with the INSS limits for humans and animals.
