Smart air curtain in Antonio Mingote Library in Madrid
It is advisable to install air curtains at all entrances to buildings with many people. Opening doors leads to loss of air conditioning and draughts, which are very annoying for users. Thanks to the constant flow of air emitted by the air curtains, this problem disappears. In the Antonio Mingote library, these ventilation problems were solved with a Smart air curtain.
In this project, the clients chose an air curtain from Airtècnics standard range. They opted for white and installed two 1500 units with electric heating for each of the automatic doors in the building. The installer was the company Aceinsa.
The Airtècnics Smart air curtain is an air curtain mainly used in commercial doors, due to its rounded lines and the suction grille located in its upper part, which provide a low visual impact to the environment. This model is available with three types of heating: water heating, electric (as in the project we show) or adaptable to a heat pump system.
Technical characteristics:
- Discreet design that blends in with any decor and architectural style.
- Front panel can be customised with logos, lighting, lettering or safety and information signage.
- Self-supporting frame made of injected plastic side panels without edges.
- Epoxy-polyester paint finish in white as standard. Other RAL colours available.
Air inlet concealed at the top, preventing interior view of the curtain. - Discharge linear diffusers with airfoil type anodized aluminium slats, adjustable 15º in both directions.
