We are glad to present our new air curtains catalogue: as experts in the heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) industry for over 30 years, our goal is to always keep up with technological innovation, by implementing production and design of the most energy efficient responses, able to adapt to the various practical and aesthetic needs of the customer's industrial or commercial premises. Therefore, our catalogue offers not only an overview of the highlights concerning new models of air curtains introduced by us, but also illustrates with a modern, current and attractive design the full range of products at your service. Let's start an introduction to the 2018's novelties.
New heat pump air curtains: compatibility with more brands
For over ten years, our commitment to the production of heat pump air curtains also consists in the compatibility of the Airtècnics products with the most important plants and brands in the sector, in order to guarantee a truly complete technical solution. Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, Hitachi, LG, Midea,: they are the brands we have a complete range with outdoor unit and interface kit tested and defined, including all the necessary documentation. Our air curtain models are also available for other brands, including Samsung, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Panasonic, Fujitsu, Electrolux and we are working to have them in the catalogue as soon as possible.
Available models of heat pump air curtains are divided into commercial and industrial. Among the commercial air curtains, subdivided in turn into standard and decorative – with a further series of models that are highly versatile and adaptable to many situations – our offer includes the standard Windbox, Dam and Smart air curtains, and the elegant Zen, Rund and Rotowind decorative air curtains. The recessed Windbox and Dam air curtains were added, and the Invisair designed to be installed in a hidden way and Windbox M, G models with a practical false ceiling installation kit in option.
The Windbox L, XL air curtains – including the option with a false ceiling kit – complete the heat pump product range for industrial premises.
New Maxwell 3000 e 3500 air curtains
We have expanded the range of air curtains for large industrial gates: for that, the Maxwell 3000 and 3500 were designed and produced by us. These are air curtains can cover, combining them vertically in an appropriate manner, large doors up to 7 meters high. They can be positioned on one or both sides of the industrial gate. Also can be installed horizontally. The prominent Maxwell series features (air curtains available from 1.5 to 3.5 meters in length) are the Coanda effect – consisting of a powerful double-air jet and the axial fans, driven by an external rotor motor – the low noise and low consumption. It is available the Clever control device (automatic, intelligent and energy saving).
The electric or hot water heating option has been added to our entire range of Maxwell air curtains, in addition to the existing ventilation only.
The new Windbox BB and Recessed BB air curtains for commercial and industrial doors
Our 2018 catalogue is enhanced by the standard Windbox BB air curtain and the Recessed BB model, designed to be installed in the false ceiling. Some features of these two new air curtains are the anodized aluminium outlet vanes, airfoil shaped and adjustable in both directions, the double-inlet centrifugal fans driven by an external rotor motor and low noise level (designed with EC technology), a self-supporting casing construction made of galvanized steel plate and three different types of regulation. Both variants have the Clever control included.
The Windbox L, XL air curtains with a high velocity and efficiency outlet Kit also called as insect control outlet kit (Windbox LT, XLT)
The Windbox L, XL high-pressure air curtains for large industrial and commercial doors now also offers the possibility of applying a functional and convenient outlet kit that greatly increases the velocity of the jet allowing the air curtain to be more efficient and recommended for higher heights. We call that kit “insect outlet kit” because we develop it for the insect control application.
The prevention of infiltrations of flies and other insects, as well as rodents and small animals through the large doors at buildings through the installation of insect control air curtains, from today it will be much more effective. Restaurants, canteens, hospitals, food production facilities are some of the places where an installation of appropriate insect control air curtains can prevent food contamination, to preserve sanitary conditions and to protect public health.
It’s a big problem and the installation of insect control air curtains minimizes substantially that problem.
The heat pump air curtains technology
The new catalogue gives ample space to the explanation of the heat pump air curtains technology: thanks to this device you get a significant energy saving in heating costs and a reduction of CO2 emissions up to 70%. Furthermore, compared to electrical air curtains, the heat pump allows the recovery of the initial cost much shorter in time. Heat pump air curtains are environmentally friendly: in fact, the heat pump device is considered renewable energy.
